Hare is a commission for the home of a friend who identifies as a hare!  

Note the marvelous fossil in the middle!

On the back are carved some folk names for the hare: 

'Race the wind, stubble stag, skidaddler, jigfoot, jester of may, sudden start, shake the heart, moongaze'
